This information will help me to let you know what treatment approach is best for you.
My experience of video consultation in the lockdown showed me performant results.
I can assess your pain or injury by hearing your description of the pain, demonstrate diagnostic tests and then design a plan treatment to get you better. I will manage your problem by teaching you appropriate exercises, treatment technics and advices in accordance with your restrictions or pain.
We will practice by video link (Zoom or skype). At the end of the session, I summarise your home program so you can register it too.
Face to face consultation
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW
The first session : we can communicate by phone or visio conference. I will ask you questions about your condition and do some tests.
Prior to booking, patients will complete a symptom screening questionnaire by phone or Email. This is to ensure that you (or the people you live with) have had any symptoms of COVID-19. This is for your and my safety as well as other clients.
If you request face to face physiotherapy sessions, you can call me at 079477730 or send an Email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW
If you are not able to get to the clinic at Chiswick or live far away from it in West London, then the virtual approach is a great solution for you to get the help you need. I will ask you to download zoom (zoom.us) onto your device or use your skype account if you have one and here we go.
We can envisage a face to face consultation to manage restrictions that can be resolved by yourself and do online sessions for every technics or exercises you can apply at distance.
What didn't change with online session? To assess you, I collect information about your problem and past medical history. I choose easy and adapted tests that I show you and I explain you the biomechanical cause of your disorder in using anatomical pictures. Then I suggest you a plan treatment. We work out each part of your daily home program. Every tests or exercises will be demonstrated and corrected if needed.
What does it change? it is a team work which involves adaptation for both of us and even if it is different than a face to face consultation, it works
