Diastasis recti means your belly sticks out because the space between your left and right belly muscles has widened. It is a common condition for two-third of pregnant women. Medical studies have shown that diastasis will remain present after a year without physiotherapy.
It may cause lower back pain, constipation or urine leaking and in extreme cases, the connective tissue between recti muscles may tear and the organs may poke out of the opening, that’s called hernia.
How can I help you?
I use the Tupler technique to reinforce the deep abdominal muscles and an easy daily exercise program included a reinforcement of limbs and arms. Then, you can protect your connective tissue and lower back. You will need 6 sessions minimum.
